Selected by the St. Johns Cultural Council for St. Augustine Beach Mural

Pretty excited that I was selected to create a mural in St. Augustine Beach by the pier, the first in a series of murals that will make up a new St. Johns County Public Art Trail!

Here are some photos of the beginning stages of the project. And no, that is not graffiti scribbled on the wall! That is called a doodle or scribble grid. It’s a way for me to scale up my drawing on the wall. I spray paint all kinds of numbers, letters, symbols etc. onto the wall and take a photo. I can then digitally layer those doodles on top of my artwork as a guide for me when I’m painting it on the wall. Pretty cool huh!
