The Process

1. Initial Consultation

Let's start with a conversation about your vision. Do you already have a design in mind, or do you need me to create something unique for you? This is the perfect time to discuss your ideas, themes, and any specific elements you want to include. Whether you have a detailed concept or just a general idea, we can work together to develop a design that suits your space perfectly. It's helpful if you can find some images that you like—whether it's a certain color palette, subject matter, or another artist's work—so I can get a feel for your preferences. Please note that while I draw inspiration from various sources, I do not directly copy other artists' work. If you have a specific painting in mind, it will be altered to create something unique.

2. Design and Approval

This is where the creative process begins! I start sketching and developing ideas tailored to your vision. To kick off this stage, I require a small nonrefundable design deposit, which will be applied toward your final mural balance. I’ll digitally layer the mural design on a photo of your space so you can visualize exactly how it will look. You’ll receive 3 mock-ups to review and choose from, ensuring the design is perfect for you! Additional designs may be requested at $50 each.

3. Contract and Payment

Once we have discussed what you want for your mural, I require you to sign a contract to commission the work. A 50% installment is required for work to start. The remaining balance is due no later than the date of completion.

4. Preparation

Please ensure that the wall is clean and primed before I begin. If the wall is not properly prepared, I cannot guarantee how long the mural will last, and it may peel off over time.

5. Painting the Mural

Now the fun begins! I'll bring your mural to life using high-quality paints and materials. This stage can take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the design. Throughout the process, I'll keep you updated on the progress and make sure everything is on track.

6. Reveal and Enjoy

Finally, it's time to reveal your new mural! This is always an exciting moment, seeing the transformation from a blank wall to a stunning piece of art. Whether it's for a public space, a business, or a private home, your mural is sure to make a lasting impression.
